  • Description: Notes - The De Martino winemakers visited over 350 vineyard sites and selected the most exciting ones to offer this unique selection of limited production wines made from grapes sourced from Chile’s best terroirs. Each wine displays the unique character and personality of its specific terroir. Only between 800 and 1600 cases were produced of each Single Vineyard Wine. This wine was aged in French oak barriques (225 lt.) for 12 months. The 2006 of the very special and highly awarded Carmenère from the "Alto de Piedra" terroir (Isla de Maipo, Maipo Valley) has a dark and shiny, almost purple, colour. The aromas have a great intensity and excellent fruit expression that remind one of all kinds of berries. The oak is perfectly integrated and gives complexity to the wine. You can also find some notes of violet, candy and chocolate, making it a wine with great body, fresh, juicy and elegant.
